Athirappally
This place is famous for a beautiful 80 feet high waterfalls at the entrance to the Sholayar ranges. Athirappally water falls is located 75 kms from cochin and situated in Thrissur district. This is the largest and beautiful waterfaills in Kerala. This waterfalls joins the Chalakudy river. This is about 32 km. East of Chalakudy which attracts a large number of tourists.
Vazhachal
Vazhachal waterfall lies east of Chalakudy, near the entrance to the Sholayar forest ranges. This picturesque waterfall is close to dense green forests and is a part of the Chalakudy river. Athirappally and Vazhachal are the most famous waterfalls of Kerala which attract tourists in plenty. These two waterfalls are 5 km. apart.

Meenmutti and Kombaikani Waterfalls

These are two magnificent waterfalls on the upper reaches of the Neyyar reservoir. A trek of two kms, through dense forests, would take one to Meenmutti waterfalls and a further two kms, to the Kombaikani waterfalls. The waterfalls and forests around them are worth experiencing.

Soochippara Waterfall, Wayanad

The waterfalls at Soochippara near Meppadi are really a treasure of nature, yet to be discovered. The stretches of waterfalls ranging at places from 100 to 300 feet height are a treat to the eyes. The pool below provides for water rafting, swimming, bathing, etc. The tree top huts at Soochippara give a unique view of the valleys of the Western Ghats and the glimmering shallow waters of the surrounding spring.
